Hello to all those R.I.A.T. enthusiasts who are looking for somwhere to stay near to the airbase.
We offer a clean, friendly camp site which includes a separate area for caravans/motorhomes, although we do not have electric hook-up.
Our site is 2.5 miles from the base, on the A417 on the eastern edge of Fairford, within easy reach of the Whelford Road junction (red route). There is a footpath leading from our site to the base, but it is not suitable for very young/old people as it can take about 45 mins to get there and includes a steep hill to negotiate.
Being a football club, we offer hot showers in our changing room block (included) as well as a number of toilets for both sexes. We also have an outside sink where crockery can be washed.
Our bar facilities will be open all weekend and we will have hot food and entertainment available for both Friday and Saturday nights.
Campsite is open from Weds 9th July through to Weds 16th July.
